Mayor McCoy
Jason McCoy is a civil trial attorney by trade, he was elected Mayor of Vernon in 2007 and re-elected in 2009. Mayor McCoy served on the Vernon Town Council from 1998-2007. As a Council member he was known for strong fiscal constraint, in depth examination of the Town governmental spending, proposals for cost savings measures, while at the same time making sure services to the citizens were delivered at the highest level. Most people say that Mayor Jason McCoy’s fiscal knowledge and political values comes from his Grandfather Mayor Frank McCoy who served from 1969-1979. You can contact Mayor McCoy at the Town Hall at (860) 870-3600 for issues related to the Town or go to www.vernon-ct.gov for Town info, questions or related issues.
